One of the newer up and coming trends I see in the automotive world is the “Sharpie fad”. Most people will take a small part (trunk/lip/wing) of their car and either Sharpie in a design or get the piece wrapped in an intricately designed vinyl.

Collen, a friend who I used to ride bikes with, moved to Japan and did what any sensible American who has been deprived of badass JDM cars would do… Pick up the car that has tugged your heartstrings but you were never able to get it due to costs, importation laws or the hardships of owning such a car. His weapon of choice? An R33 GT-R.  Instead of a select part to be intricately detailed, the whole car was done up.

Love the Work Emotions and love the details!

Wow! That’s crazy. That’s a wrap right? That’s be insane if someone actually sharpied up a whole white R33 GTR

According to Collen, it’s a Sharpie job with over 140 hours put into it. One door and the roof remain to be Sharpie’d.
