This RX-7 is awesome. Mismatched SSRs on sticky tires. Gigantic whale tail. I am absolutely loving how the rear flare is cut right on the body line.
The only thing I don’t care for is the home-brewed chin spoiler. Everything about this car screams “SLEEK!”, except for that.

I didn’t realize my buddy Christian (who owns that SICK EF hatchback) was filming with his GoPro at the meet.
AHHH Stupid Youtube and music copyrights. Check it out on youtube.
Extras and WTF’s coming later.
And their horrible cameras. Mazda Cosmo doing it’s “Back to the Future” thing, sitting on what looks like Work Equip 01′s.
I bet if they were to remake this thing today, exactly as it looked before, it would still be heralded as a futuristic looking design.

Mazda announced the BRE liveried MX-5 and Nissan followed soon after with a BRE NISMO 370Z scheme.

How about the BRE scheme on a S13 with SSR SP1′s and power from an RB25?
Sweet.

Of some pictures I have that don’t really belong anywhere.

Super awesome-ness. Mad RX-4 clone based on a Mazda 929 wagon with a 13B swapped in. Damn Aussies always build some cool toys. It’s currently going through a rebuild where it will shed the rotary motor for an 1800cc piston heart (unfortunately) as well as curvaceous front end for the 929′s flat front.
While most of the world knows the Miata as a gutless ‘librarian’s car’, enthusiasts know the true power of the little roadster whether on the track or around the twisties. Lately however, the Miata is picking up steam within the stance crowd. Although kissing the car to the pavement may not be the best idea for handling, it sure does make this ‘girl’s car’ look a whole lot sexier. Be it stanced or a track tool, this future classic is definitely approved by Kyusha Kai.
I’ve been following this build thread off and on for a while now. Awesome with a side order of Crazy Awesome.
A gentleman on the Ratsun forum by the name of Bob3 woke up one day with a crazy idea in his head. This idea included his 1966 Datsun 620 truck which is shown here in all of it’s stock glory.
Mazda Miata subframe being modified to be attatched to the 520 chassis.
The truck’s frame had to be notched for the miata’s rear suspension to clear.
All clean, coated and sexy!
EHHHHH!?! Is that a new motor the the cab is being dropped on to?
Yup! If you’re gonna install the Miata’s suspension, then why not add the motor too?
And the transmission while you’re at it. The firewall, floors and transmission tunnel has been cut out and swapped in favor of the Miata’s metal.
ZOOM ZOOM! Tearing it up on the tracks!
Chasing down much more powerful and naturally faster beasts.
New wheels while working on some aero. CF front bumper, splitter and a wooden truck bed cover. He originally had a NASCAR styled spoiler, but it didn’t really do much for downforce.
This truck is so awesome. The suspension of one of everyone’s favorite handling car, beefed up with Bilstein coilovers, built into a chassis that is a couple hundred pounds lighter with a longer wheelbase. Sick.
