Nothing much going on. Did a little bit of work on the wagon but nothing groundbreaking. Been hanging out with the infamous BKH808. Here’s some random pictures that I like.

Patrick, the owner of the infamously liveried Kenmeri Skyline is updating his looks. BOSO STYLE! There are definitely not enough Boso’ed cars in the states, so I’m definitely looking forward to seeing this project finished!
Check out the vintage Dunlop slicks! I just got my hands on something spectacular, and let me say this… as far as wide tires go in 14 inch selection, there is not much. I would think more manufacturers would put product out for the old school muscle cars, but I guess not.

Picked all these up off of JNC for $60 shipped. Not bad considering if I can ever find any Japanese tuning mag here (usually Option, Drift Tengoku, or VIP Car), it’s $20+ for an old issue. Score!

To whomever can find me the size and offset of the rear SSR’s on the Wood Village Z.

What I just noticed is the vented carbon fiber fender goodness. Mmmmmmm…

Got all that nasty sound deadening out! What a tedious PITA! Not really looking forward to stripping the underbody, but I want this car to be solid. Planning on Por15’ing the interior and underbody. After that, the interior gets Dynamat/Fatmat/whatevers, and exterior gets a rubberized undercoating.
And a bad ass picture for inspiration.
I also have a B210 brake booster and a pretty nice rear bumper being shipped over. My tax return is getting smaller and smaller!

Not only the toy Hako wagon, but THAT DRAWING IT’S ON! I love cutaway and schematic drawings. I’d love to have that blown up and framed right above my DSalni canvases.
This RX-7 is awesome. Mismatched SSRs on sticky tires. Gigantic whale tail. I am absolutely loving how the rear flare is cut right on the body line.
The only thing I don’t care for is the home-brewed chin spoiler. Everything about this car screams “SLEEK!”, except for that.

I was browsing the JNC project Hako build thread and the age old discussion came up about the unicorn of all parts… the OS Giken TC-24 dual cam head. There was a lot of heresy stemming from last years SEMA show, when OS Giken had their crown jewel on display. Rumors of the head being remade and to be offered for $30,000 have been floating around since then. The rumors are true… and it gets even wilder.
Kev from JNC spoke to an Aussie OS-Giken distributer who confirmed that as of now, six heads cast in the 80’s have been set aside and all have been spoken for. One for a lucky Australian Z car nut, five slated to be delivered to U.S. enthusiasts, and a final head for OS Giken’s demo car. More heads are planned for casting with a current price tag of just under $42,000. OS Giken is also planning to sell a 3.2 liter crate motor complete with IRTBs and a header for a mind-boggling $90,000! 400HP at 11,000 RPMs? Yes please!
By the way, what’s the going rate for one’s kidney nowadays?
So I picked these up locally for a song. Seriously too good of a deal to not jump on them. 14×9 and 14×10 with 0 offset and nearly new 205/60/14r Federal tires.
Here’s some shots of my current favorite Z at the moment, courtesy of Inzane240, rocking 15×9.5 0 offset Epsilons in the rear.
I could get them to fit with max camber, a roll, pull, tug, baseball bat, etc., but I don’t want to. Probably just gonna sell them. Or stare at them until I find a car I can fit them on.
