Brothers Of Awesome

These two SA22 RX-7′s would make a perfect sitcom. Two brothers who are so alike yet so different.
The first brother, a street brawler who probably gets into a lot of trouble with the cops. Complete with the bolt on flares, brake ducting and a monster tachometer.
Watanabe’s and the matching gunmetal paint make this street RX-7, perfect.
The second SA22, does everything by the rulebook. IMSA aero and deep SSR mesh wheels.
I’d watch a show featuring these two.

I like the “street brawler”. Those flares give most cars such an aggressive look + the watanabe wheels are awesome old school jdm wheels

Comment by kyushakai March 4, 2010 @ 8:46 pm“The street baller” has a lip kit? Where can I find it?! And that headlamp scoop is 1 of a kind!!! Who makes that?

Here’s the headlight duct. They also have a front bumper that looks kinda like the one pictured here but with foglight cutouts. I’m sure fiberglassing over it would be a piece of cake.
Comment by kyushakai December 2, 2010 @ 1:07 amI found that front bumper with the fog light cutouts ..but so hard to find the 1 pictured above! Could it be custom made probably..or can it be some rare japanes part..? It’s seems to have the hood poped out 20b? Perhaps?! That would be nice if that’s what’s under the hood.!
Comment by Chris December 2, 2010 @ 7:42 pmOh NICE!
I posted the gunmetal 22c on my site forever ago, that car is Amazing!
The Aero parts pictured are all from ERC.
(It belongs to an ERC sponsored driver that’s quite active in the circuit scene and has been featured in the J mag titles: AutoWorks / AWs RetroCar and Lightning Vintage Auto)
