Ever since Sport Compact Car got the axe, the only magazines that I feel are of high enough quality to grace the tank lid of my toilet bowl are Japanese Nostalgic Car and 0-60. Both magazines have great content, amazing photography and are well written.
I found these pictures of a gorgeous, stock example of the Mitsubishi Starion in the 0-60 magazine archives. This car is the epitome of an 80′s car. The body lines and dashboard arrangement screams Knight Rider and I am in LOVE with the seat belts. Just imagine those “Turbo” belts strapped across your Member’s Only jacket, while jamming out to “Livin’ On A Prayer” on cassette.
*Bonus fact* According to Wikipedia, Mitsubishi claims the name “Starion” is a contraction of “The Star of Orion”. However, others claim that the car was supposed to be named “Stallion” and it got the “Engrish” treatment during translation.
